Still Working on the Book-Ends

I spent a bit of time in my work room this weekend and did a bit more on the book-ends.

I still need to paint the houses and stage the book-ends with a few accessories to indicate the town and country theme. I haven't made miniatures in 1/48th scale before so that could be a challenge.

I was ably assisted in my craft room by the terrible two - Squiggle and Dash.

I think I'd better put a door on this dolls house!

  2. Hi Sharee! I really like the walls (who will keep the books in place) with the bricks and the other one with the painted landscape :D! Cute, naughty cats, yes, I agree that you better put a door on this dolls house. But maybe they are just plant lovers ;)!?

  3. Hi Sharee, I LOVE your book ends!!! I really enjoy watching them get better and better with everything you do to them!
As for naughty cats.... if it fits, it sits. Be it a doll house or a cardboard box.... But how unhappy we would be without them! :-)

  7. Hi Sharee! I LOVE those bookends!!! 1:48 is the scale of my Tree House.... so I know what you are dealing with! But it is possible and a lot of fun when you get used to thinking that small!
Your kitties are growing so fast! They look all grown up! And I agree a door is a good idea!

  8. What a fantastic idea to cover the ends with papers that match the country/town theme - it looks awesome. And like Betsy I was thinking too that your kitties have grown fast! Obviously they are very interested in your hobby... ;O)

  11. Hi Sharee! These two little houses are turning very quickly into little homes. You are doing such a Super job with both of them. I did not know that they were that scale so even More Kudos to you.
And yet no space is ever toooooo small in the mind of a cat!
